This is the first in a series focusing on Baba’s close women in the West.

Filis Frederick first met Meher Baba in 1952 at the Meher Spiritual Center, after hearing about Him a decade before from Norina Matchabelli, Countess Nadine Tolstoy, and Elizabeth Patterson. 

Filis was key in mentoring many young Baba Lovers to follow, surrender, and obey Meher Baba. She told many of us she had known us for lifetimes. 

This meeting is to honor Filis Frederick's life work, a Lotus Flower dedicated to our Beloved Meher Baba.
