Why We Need You

Everything you see and experience at Meherabode—programs, food, hospitality, upkeep—is made possible by volunteers. As one of the few physical Baba centers in the U.S., we rely on your helping hands to keep our Center running smoothly and our community engaged.

Ways to Serve

Your presence and support help keep Baba’s home in Southern California vibrant and welcoming for all. Each act of service—large or small—is a way of offering love and dedication to our Beloved Baba. Here are the different ways you can be of service.

🧹 Cleaning Team
Care for the main building’s interiors and the Dome. Helping to clean and maintain these spaces ensures they remain beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming for all.

🪑 Program Wallas
Help our programs run smoothly by setting up and breaking down chairs, tables and equipment. Every effort helps create harmony and ease for the community.

🍲 Kitchen Wallas
Support the heart of our gatherings by helping serve food, do dishes, and keep the kitchen organized. Serving in the kitchen is a joyful way to nourish others while sharing Baba’s love.

🚘 Parking Wallas
Assist visitors with parking and provide information and Guest Passes when needed.

📚 Bookstore Wallas
By assisting in the bookstore, you support our Bookstore Managers, assist with sales, and make it easier for seekers to discover Meher Baba’s life and message.

Do you have expertise in videography, sound, or stage lighting? We’d love you to consider joining our Media Crew.

🌿 Garden Helpers
Enjoy the beauty of our gardens and work in harmony outdoors to keep the pond clean, care for flowers, weed and fertilize, catalog plant names, and learn as you go!
