Shireen Bonner
Guest Speaker

Shireen is Meher Baba’s niece, the daughter of Meher Baba’s youngest brother, Adi Jr., and Franey Irani. She was born in London, England, a year after her parents moved there from India. She is the only one of her generation of Meher Baba’s family to have been born in the West.

Shireen is a wonderful storyteller who will share her trove of memories about spending time with Meher Baba and the mandali during her three visits to India during her childhood. At their family home in London, named Meher Manzil, her parents held regular monthly meetings after Baba dropped the body and opened their home to the many young Baba lovers drawn to Beloved Baba. Shireen was part of it all and we are excited to have her as this year’s guest speaker!

Musical Guest

We are thrilled that LA’s own Robert Een will be our musical guest this year.
He will be joined by Ross Levinson.

Ross Levinson & Robert Een

Robert Een, composer, singer, cellist, teacher and cherished member of our L.A. Baba family, has performed around the world from Carnegie Hall to Mandali Hall. The recipient of an Obie Award and two Bessie Awards for his work in theater, dance, film and the concert stage, his music showcases extended techniques for voice and cello and features an eclectic combination of voices and instruments. Een has taught at UCLA for twenty years as well as at universities and professional schools across the globe. He has recorded eighteen albums of genre-defying music and collaborated with a wide range of directors and choreographers. Most recently Een scored the documentary “Conversations from a War” that won the audience choice award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.
